As I remarked on my previous posts the full Manuals which interest me and brought me, again, to the "Scribd site" are very weighty (60Mo!) and download is slow but for the quality of the offer the time is well spent. Not all document are of this size. This reminds me I must upload my own ebook on project management to the Scribd website.

NAP-National Academy Publications -New Widgets, Share Functions, Online Access

NAP are in the process of redesigning their online presentation using a rather neat Widget, proposing attractive report cover images and buttons for easy access to free online reading short summaries (pdf), executive summaries (pdf) and RSS feed printing individual pages and of course a paid print edition. Although outwardly similar in form, my own humble first "SpringWidget ®" for feed presentation and sharing-distribution, is pale in comparison.

Examples are given in the LHS - Left Hand Side Menu.

I seldom offer readers advice on blogging. I struggle enough myself to consider that I am not a sound computer reference. This was brought to my attention by those nice little blog reminders which appear when you finalise your post. (no nasty remarks please) This is the first time I came across this Tips and Tricks Google banner and feel it well worth sharing.

Foresight - Free Manual - Prospective -Links List

To make life easier for readers, I have just recorded a reference Foresight-Prospective Studies Manual "From Anticipation to Action"-Pdf,together with numerous links (23 links) from the same good French source good French source on these subjects. Off-the-cuff, I can think of a few others such as "Santa Fe Institute", "Sierra Club", Aspen Institute...OCDE too I suppose, and will come back to this in "Future" "Think-Tank" posts. New comers are well advised to read (multi-lingual introductory materials, English of course, Spanish & French.) before using previously mentioned "sledgehammer free software tools". The French Expert central to these references is Michel Godet Professor of Prospective Studies at ENSAM - CNAM, whose abundant freely available work is mostly in French.
